While sea transit may take as little as 8 days, you should plan for approximately 3 weeks for door-to-door delivery to east coast ports like Halifax or Montreal, and around 5 weeks for destinations on the west coast, such as Vancouver.

The most common options are Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) shipping or secured container transport. The choice depends on the type of car, destination port, and budget.

Car shipping costs usually range from C$3,400 to C$5,800, depending on the size of the car, the shipping method, and your final destination.

Yes, provided that marine cargo insurance is arranged. We highly recommend securing full insurance coverage for protection against loss or damage during shipping.

Yes. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requires that all cars are free from soil, plant debris, or pests to comply with Canadian import regulations. Failure to comply could result in delays or additional cleaning charges.

You will need the bill of sale, the original car title (or proof of registration), a government-issued photo ID, and Form 1, which we will file with Transport Canada on your behalf.

Not all cars are eligible. Transport Canada requires imported cars to meet Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS), unless the car qualifies under the 15-year exemption rule.

Cars that are at least 15 years old (based on the month and year of manufacture) are exempt from Canadian safety and emissions standards and may be imported without modification.

Most cars manufactured in the UK or Europe are duty-free under the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), with some restrictions. There is 5% GST to pay at the border, and any applicable provincial sales taxes (PST, QST, or HST) on registration of the car in your province.

Generally, no. RORO shipping prohibits personal items inside the car. With container shipping, personal belongings may be allowed, but CBSA inspections could apply, and additional fees may be charged.

Yes. We handle all customs clearance procedures, including CBSA entries and RIV submissions, to ensure a smooth import process for your car.

The primary ports for car imports from Europe are Halifax, Montreal, and Vancouver.

Yes, both LHD and RHD cars are permitted in Canada. However, certain provinces may impose restrictions or additional conditions for registering right-hand drive vehicles, such as in QC or PEI.

No. We can arrange for your car to be delivered directly to your home or business, offering convenient door-to-door service.

Both shipping methods are secure. RORO ships cars inside enclosed decks, while container shipping places your car inside a sealed steel container. The decision largely depends on personal preference and car value.

You will receive login credentials to a secure online portal where you can access real-time updates on your car's shipment, including customs status and documentation.

An all-in quote covers ocean freight, marine cargo insurance, customs brokerage services, CBSA and Transport Canada fees, port handling, and inland transport to your destination.

No upfront deposit is needed. Your invoice for shipping and customs services will be issued after the vessel departs.
