Requesting a Quote

By accepting a quote from LIMA Automotive Industries (“LIMA Automotive”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

As the customer, you grant LIMA Automotive Industries, the right to store, use, and share your personal information for all purposes related to servicing and transporting your vehicle, including but not limited to warranty registration, marketing communications, and engaging computing and marketing service providers. Your privacy will be held in the highest regard, and all intended use is strictly for the benefit of your current and future vehicle services.

Any materials provided from an on-site inspection or appraisal of a used vehicle do not constitute an endorsement of purchasing said vehicle. The inspection reflects our opinion based on market values and presented condition. Limitations of an on-site inspection may result in missed or unseen issues, without liability to LIMA Automotive. LIMA Automotive Industries is not affiliated with nor endorses any sellers, whether private or commercial dealerships, who advertise on websites linked within our own. We reference these listing websites to provide North American buyers with access to listing advertisements without prejudice or liability.

LIMA Automotive Industries (“LIMA Automotive”) acts solely as a facilitator in the transfer of funds from the buyer to the selling dealership. LIMA Automotive does not sell vehicles nor does it act as an agent, representative, or affiliate of the selling dealership. We do not warrant, endorse, or guarantee the condition, quality, or legality of the vehicle being purchased. Any claims or disputes regarding the vehicle’s condition, history, or title must be resolved directly with the selling dealership. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that LIMA Automotive is not responsible for any issues arising from the transaction, including but not limited to vehicle defects, non-conformance to descriptions, or any other discrepancies. All funds remitted to the selling dealership on behalf of the buyer are done so at the buyer’s instruction, and LIMA Automotive is not liable for the outcome of the transaction. In such event as the vehicle being sold prior to purchase and remittance of funds to the selling dealership, LIMA Automotive is responsible for the return of funds in full to the buyer, less any incurred transport or agency costs.

You acknowledge your indebtedness for any services quoted and accepted by LIMA Automotive. Payment is to be made after pickup, within 2 business days of issuance of a Statement of Account. In the event of non-payment, the transporter is entitled to liens under available Storage Liens Legislation.

LIMA Automotive Industries is not liable for any vehicle damages or loss sustained during transport. In the event of total loss due to fire, sinkage, or theft, any liability claim must be directed to the carrier referenced. Comprehensive freight insurance is available upon request at a rate of 1.75% of 1.1 x (vehicle value plus freight). Storage costs associated with delays are billed to the customer’s expense.

You agree to pay all customs dues, taxes, levies, submission fees, and duties in full upon receipt to avoid release delays. You consent to LIMA Automotive acting as your agent for customs brokerage. You understand that it is your responsibility under the law to provide accurate and authentic documentation for the customs submission, without liability to the company.

In the event of cancellation, a $250 cancellation fee plus any locally incurred origin charges are applicable.

All quotes are valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issue.

The vehicle must be received in a clean and contaminate-free state, as Canadian and US law prohibits the import of vehicles containing traces of organic soil. In the event of quarantine due to contamination, the customer is responsible for associated cleaning, re-examination, and release fees. Additionally, vehicles must be at least 15 years old from the month of manufacture for Canadian imports and 25 years old for US imports. No loose components or accessories are to be left in the vehicle when shipping, and any such items are shipped at the customer’s own risk.
